Renovations underway through the end of 2027
The hotel will be carrying out remodeling in select areas including the atrium, Bay Lake Tower and Main Tower. Starting March 23, 2026, maintenance will be carried out on the outside of the Main Tower, which could affect views from various locations in the hotel and, at times, require alternative routes to get around. Guests may see or hear construction work during the day. The Bay Lake pool, main pool, water play area and whirlpool will remain open.
About the Hotel
Disney's Contemporary Resort is a hotel located in Orlando, Florida, and offers 1,008 guest rooms equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, coffeemaker, work desk, and private bathroom with shower. Some accommodations are suitable for guests with disabilities.
The hotel has a pool, a game room, a multipurpose court, and WiFi. The hotel offers 24-hour front desk, tour assistance, housekeeping service, multilingual staff, ATM, and currency exchange. Magic Kingdom park, one of the most visited parks in Florida and the best known in the world, is 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) from the hotel. Walt Disney World Resort is 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) from the hotel), and consists of 4 main theme parks, 2 water parks, 6 golf courses, a sports complex, 2 shopping centers, shops, and restaurants. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 40 kilometers (24.9 mi) away.
***Food plans: The DISNEY QUICK-SERVICE DINING plan is a quick and simple option where guests over 3 years of age receive: 2 fast-food meals, 1 snack or beverage, and 1 glass to fill beverages at the hotel. The DISNEY DINING PLAN offers classic dining options at quick-service and table service restaurants, including those offering meals with characters. It includes: 1 fast-food service, 1 meal with table service, 1 snack or beverage. and 1 glass to fill beverages at the hotel. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The specific number of meals and snacks is determined by the number of nights included in the package stay; they can be redeemed at any time during the stay. Uneaten meals and snacks will be transferred from one day to the next and will expire at midnight on the day of check-out. Meals and snacks are not transferable among group members.
