About the Hotel
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a theme hotel on the shores of Golden Lake, next to Disney’s Animal Kingdom®. The property evokes cultures from Spain, Mexico, and the Southwest region of the United States, and offers 1,921 guest rooms equipped with mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker, in-room safe, and WiFi. For recreation, the resort features a theme pool that exhibits a replica of a 50-meter (164 ft) Mayan pyramid with a 37-meter (121 ft) long slide inspired by a jaguar. In addition, there are three pools, a children’s pool, a Jacuzzi for 22 guests, and a fitness center.
Facilities include several restaurants, bars, lounges, and a cantina. For the fun of the whole family, there is a children’s playground, a video game room, billiards, a trail for running, walking, or jogging, a beach volleyball court, a bonfire area, and outdoor movie screenings. For any type of event, the hotel offers conference facilities to accommodate up to 6,500 guests. The hotel also offers collect and delivery of merchandise throughout select Walt Disney World® stores.
The property is only 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) from Disney’s Blizzard Beach, a water park with slides, rafts, and a wave pool; 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) from Epcot®; and 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) from Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 39 kilometers (24.2 mi) away.
***Dining plans: The DISNEY QUICK-SERVICE DINING plan is a fast and easy option where guests aged 3 and older receive: 2 quick-service meals, 1 snack or drink, and 1 resort-refillable drink mug. The DISNEY DINING PLAN offers classic dining options at both quick-service and table-service restaurants, including character dining locations. Included: 1 quick-service meal, 1 table-service meal, 1 snack or drink, and 1 resort-refillable drink mug. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: the specific number of meals and snacks is determined by the number of nights included in the package stay. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during the stay.
